THE 20TH ANNUAL BAY SEAFOOD FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD AT BELLE ISLE STATE PARK ON 10 SEPTEMBER 2010.

The 20th annual festival will be held on September 10th, 2010. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., food service starts at 5:00 p.m.. Admission includes all the food you can eat, a variety of beverages (soft drinks, as well as beer, wine and hard liquor), live dance music, free parking and free water taxi. Credit cards are charged when ticket orders are filled. Tickets are not available at the gate. The Festival is held at Belle Isle State Park on the Rappahannock River near Morattico. Guests enjoy oysters, soft shell crabs, crab cakes, scallops, steamed shrimp, fish, clam chowder, pork barbecue, french fried sweet potatos, french fries, hush puppies, corn on the cob, salad, cole slaw, ice cream, soda, beer, wine, bottled water, Coke, and an assortment of mixed drinks. Music entertainment includes the CASPER Band live; and The Kilmarnock and District Pipe Band.
The proceeds from the festival benefit local organizations and have exceeded $330,000.
